Martinique.

Friday we sailed from St Lucia to Martinique. We had a fast sail for the 22 NM and it was done in less than three hours. We went straight to St Anne, which is a nice town and a wonderful anchorage. It is nice to be back to civilisation again. We also went to the covered market in Le Marin as it is good and deserved a revisit.

A selection of what Chris found on the market. A competition for our dear readers: Who can guess what fruits are on this photo? Please leave your answer in the "comments" below. The price and the winner(s) will be advised later on.

This lady was extremely friendly and we tried her home made Rum Punches and ended up getting a bottle, as well as some spices.

St Anne is a charming small town and we always like to visit it. here is the church and central square, where I usually find a bench in the shade while Chris is shopping......
