Hydraulic Work Finally Completed.

Well today, after about three weeks waiting, messy work, waste of time, etc, the hydraulic hose for the back-stay was installed and our first test at 2.000 PSI seems to be positive. We will need the bleed (get the air out of the system) the hoses and back-stay during the next few days to be sure that it will work well under pressure   before we can set sail again. But it has been a long and difficult wait to get it fixed correctly. OK Grenada is a very nice place to visit and the people are friendly, but there weeks were a bit too long.

The weather forecast for Saturday is for strong wind and loads of rain, so it might be best that we stay here for a few more days until the weather system has passed, as we are better protected here than in the smaller islands in the Tobago Keys.

Paul,
Glad to hear your hydraulic problems may be coming to an end. Good luck with the rainy weather.
