Bequia Is As Nice As Ever

Today is the St Vincent Hero's Day and everything is closed, except the bars and restaurants. A ferry arrived this morning from St Vincent, playing loud music and loaded with youngsters and many had had their portion of drinks on-board, as they stumbled all over the place. So it is party day in Bequia and the bars have a good day.

The Lobster Man arrived and we bought a large Lobster.

Bequia is well known for building  model ships as well as large sailing Ships.

A typical Bequia produced sailing ship.

And another one.

Bread Fruits grow on large trees. They taste a bit like Potatoes and is prepared in a similar way.

A Rasta Flower.

Water front sellers in Port Elisabeth.

The Bar & Restaurant where we met last year the crew of S/Y Mimi.

The fashion here is that the boys has to show their underpants by lowering their pants. This one exaggerated a bit as he was showing he has two underpants. And that apart from a similar looking underwear on his head. A strange, to me, fashion.
